With Brave 16: Abu Dhabi all done and dusted, we have a new welterweight champion and a little piece of Brave CF history made too. After a brutal first-round finish, Jarrah Al Selawe became the first fighter from the Gulf to be crowned as a champion under the Brave CF banner.

Results & Recap: Brave CF 14 – Tangier, Morocco

Brave Combat Federation made their maiden voyage to the continent of Africa, and the card certainly got the campaign off to a bang. The fight card showcased some explosive bouts, where seven out of nine fights ended up knockouts, while 3 of the knockouts came within the first round of action.

Thousands of Moroccan fans gathered at the Tanja Marina Bay, for the Brave 14 weigh-in ceremony. The fight fans were welcomed by their local hero Ottman Azaitar, who takes on Danijel Kokora in the main event of the fight card, set for tomorrow, August 18th.

Brave Combat Federation has announced the launch of Brave TV – a live online streaming service of live events. The initial subscribers will be treated to exclusive access to two marquee events.

Former ACB flyweight champion, Velimurad Aliskerov has expressed that his current professional focus is to win the flyweight championship at Brave Combat Federation. He is already the 2016 Combat Sambo World Champion and is currently undefeated in his professional MMA career.

News: Brave CF announces they will be holding events in 8 countries in 2018, including India, South Africa and Pakistan

Brave Combat Federation revealed plans to host events in 8 nations in the coming months of 2018. The events will take place in Morocco, Colombia, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Bahrain, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and India.

Bantamweight, Jeremy Pacatiw (6-3) will make history at Brave 14 when he enters the cage to take on Keith Lee (3-2), brother of UFC contender Kevin Lee.

The Filipino standout will become the athlete with most fights in the company’s history, with six bouts to his name. And while he continues to rise into a star in his home country, “The Juggernaut” has been flying the flag for the Philippines all over the world.

Report: Get to know the Brave CF welterweight elite

Since its inception, Brave Combat Federation has invested heavily in its welterweight division. Most would say it has certainly paid off as the weightclass ranks amongst the best in the promotion. Names like Jarrah Al-Selawe, Mohammad Fakhreddine, and Tahar Hadbi are some of the organisation’s biggest stars and sit on the top of the division. 

However, none of them have tasted sweet gold other than Brave’s current and only welterweight titleholder – Carlston Harris. Out of action due to injury, the fighter from Guyana has seen the rise of numerous contenders and is sure to have his hands full once he comes back to the picture.
